Game piracy grows from here.

Living in the area that Piracy is almost everywhere (Philippines).Manila is after all where people always says "We're not earning much"

As the title mentioned, This is basically a common issue here in Philippines.Majority of the gamers I know here, Downloads their games. Methods like getting Flashcart, Custom Firmware (CFW), Jailbreak. They can't afford to buy originals. Other complains Some games are not even available in stores but the game is up online for download.

Here's a little story how I find Piracy is getting bigger in Philippines

I have a incident that I was finding a copy of Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 for the PS3 at a game shop.
Sadly It was unavailable which got me bumped out. Then as I leave the shop they up asked me, "do you want to Jailbreak your PS3 so that you can download this game?" I simply refuse it.
This got me thinking, that game shop I visited won't last very long in business.

Reason, they didn't have the games that I want and yet they are promoting Jail-breaking for PS3.
So the shop is depending on their earnings on Jail-breaking services.
Shops encouraging buyers to download instead of buying is a STUPID MOVE for sales.

Another case, I am one of those people who buys games in Play-asia since they have all the games i am looking for. I'm  so looking forward getting the game when it arrives ny house.
Weeks later, I see this letter from the customs at the door.

ALL...and I am mean ALL of my friends
The Number 1 complain from customs, EPIC nice overcharge for custom fee.
without fail the Customs fee cost more than the game you bought.

This is one of the thing, I rather not get stuff online unless I really can't get it at local shops.
But of course loyal gamers will try their best to get their games no matter what.

Gamers let's help fight back Piracy in Philippines by buying original at game shops like
Datablitz and my favourite Gamestop.
