OKTOBERFIST 2011

Official poster of OKTOBERFIST 2011
presents
OKTOBERFIST 2011.

It was my first time attending this event. As I heard it is actually the 2nd time they have this event.

The event had
SUPER Street Fighters 4 Arcade Edition

2vs2 Tournament
and
Mortal Kombat Tournament

Here is my report on the event!

The event location is nothing new to the regulars for any P2D event. It was known to be really warm. Everyone in the place was practically carrying a bottle of drinks.
The Crowd watches the matches SSF4AE
As I was prepared for this heat, I bought so much water and a fan to cool myself down. PAGASA once again lied about the weather that day. It was really sunny and hot that day.

I went around and see so many familiar faces. Of course majority of them I played with at SM Megamall Timezone. So I am no stranger to them.

I totally envy everyone in the event as they go around carrying their awesome STICKS (No green minded please) that come in different brands and even custom plate.

My fellow Blazblue Friends with his "Ryogi Shiki"
Showing off their STICKS.

But everyone was so friendly to give tips to each other. Even I learn alot by just watching as well. This is what makes Filipinos so loveable. SUPER FRIENDLY to ANYONE.

Let's not forget the Special guest of the Event. Friend of mine in Singapore. They graced this year OKTOBERFIST by joining the tournament as well.

Ah Xian and Jeremy (Team SG)
They also come here to shoot part of the event for an episode in Cross Counter Asia. Sadly everyone really expected Ah Zhi to come instead. no worries. Those got disappointed end up changing their mind.

Xian uses his Gen and Jeremy with his Akuma. Everyone was so eager to watch them play and see how Singaporeans play SSF4. The two dominated the chart without losing a single match with any team.
They end up winning the Tournament without a sweat.

Xian the Murder face in game mode

Like Rebel Sparks (admin of P2D) says
"We just witness Singapore's Technology here in Philippines"

As any matches Xian or Jeremy plays, everyone end up saying
"Pwede pala yun~~~" (you can do that?!)

Nevertheless everyone had a learning experience and had fun in the event

Happy Faces after OKTOBERFIST 2011!
INUMAN NA~

Cheers to Pinoy2Dfighters for organizing this awesome event. More power to you all
