Giving Mercy round on your game? Good or Bad?

I can beat you with just 1 character in KOF13
Basically not everyone owns a PS3 or a Xbox360 yet. But majority I know who owns these consoles, they are the people who are into serious competitive gamers.
Playing online with other players but for the sad sad people who still can't afford to get a PS3 or Xbox360. They end up going for the other alternative.

Arcade gaming.

Here you are. Wanting to play SSF4AE at the arcade and be the TOP player in the arcade. WAHAHAHAHAHA. some dream of yours.

Anyways, in order to improve your competitive skills. You first need to challenge any players who plays it. Sounds easy right?

Wrong~~~

Why i said it is not easy? One game that is a fine example. Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition is also available on PS3 and Xbox360. They are some players who already play long hours and has more experience in challenges as they played online.. They tend to appear in the arcade to play with those people who doesn't have the game at home. (more like looking a way to find small fry)

Likely they want to show off what they can do with new found combos.

But of course you get annoyed that they treat you like a punching bag. Perfect play each round. You didn't get a chance to even hit the character out. Not even giving you a single round to win even thou you have 7 rounds (first person to win 3 rounds is the winner).

To the point you want to do this. *points at the image below*

Like I said in my previous post about picking a fight. Not cool at all.

In this case, it is different. You question yourself if you really getting bullied by this person.
Of course everyone doesn't like to lose. Losing is part of improvement so suck it up.

Usually experience players know the difference with someone is still learning or just mashing out.
Of course some players tend to forget that they suppose to give a mercy round for the person.

Getting the mercy round. You might start thinking. This person is looking down on you.
That's not the case, there are times that you can even win the game even having the mercy round. Meaning you already learning from your mistakes.

To me about giving mercy round to your challengers are actually good pressure move. It makes the game even more interesting. It also gives a common learning habit to improve on your game.

They are people who tend to be just plain idiots who doesn't give your any mercy round. Do this, play about 3 games with the player. If the player still doesn't give you a mercy round after games, stop playing with the person and find another challenger.

Oh by the way, There's no mercy round in tournament or competition. Coz everyone is giving their all for the tournament.

That's just a tip from me.
